Jim Reed, REALTOR®

Jim joined Coldwell Banker in 2026. He has been an active real estate investor and property owner since 2000. Having bought and sold numerous properties, he has no shortage of first-hand experience in the intricacies and nuance of each unique real estate transaction.

Prior to joining CB, Jim has been a full-time agent for almost a decade at a national firm and before that he was the top-producing agent at a boutique agency based in Boston’s South End. He has served buyers and sellers of condominiums, single family homes and multi-family investments in Boston and around the suburbs. Prior to his career in real estate, Jim worked in account management for Blackrock and Citigroup where he gained valuable institutional client service, financial planning and asset modeling experience. This background in finance has enabled him to assist first-time homebuyers through thoughtful education as well as assist seasoned investors and developers with thorough property analysis and expert valuation. Jim prides himself with a strong network of inspectors, lenders, attorneys, contractors, handymen (etc) who serve as extensions of his team. With a longtime focus on customer service and client satisfaction, Jim is eminently approachable and solution oriented.

Jim is a valued member of the National Association of Realtors and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. He earned a B.A. in Environmental Science from the University of Denver. Jim lives in Brookline and in his spare time you can find him on a golf course, a tennis court, or on some type of board in the ocean.
